Synthetic lubricants degrade even when the watch is stopped. Without a film of oil, the pivots rub against the metal: the wear becomes irreversible.

What you want to know.

Starting with the first of them all: when does it open?

When does ORBIS Care open? +
Subscriptions open in waves, in the order of the waiting list, with a deliberately limited number of places: that is what guarantees each member priority in the workshop. Joining the list is free, with no payment and no commitment.
Will I be able to cancel easily? +
Yes, the subscription will stay simple and honest: cancellation by email, with no hidden fees. The final terms, in particular what happens to the services already used within the year, will be published when subscriptions open.
What happens if I do not have my annual check? +
None of your other benefits are lost, but the check cannot be carried over from one year to the next. We remind you thirty days before the anniversary date to agree on a time that suits you.
I have several watches, how does that work? +
The subscription is attached to one watch identified by its brand, its reference and its serial number: that is the piece we follow over time. For several pieces, you take out several subscriptions. With ORBIS Care+, the second watch is half price.
Are all brands accepted? +
Yes, from everyday quartz to the grand complication. Our watchmakers trained at the École technique de la Vallée de Joux and work just as readily on a family watch as on a column wheel chronograph or a perpetual calendar.
What exactly does the annual check cover? +
Water-resistance test, rate measurement on instrument in several positions with a timing certificate, demagnetisation if necessary, exterior cleaning of the case and bracelet, replacement of the battery and the seals for quartz watches. You receive the timing certificate: it is what will tell you whether your watch needs a service before it stops.
And if my watch needs a major repair? +
We draw up a free firm quotation as for any case, with the 15% member discount already applied, and your watch goes to the front of the workshop queue. With ORBIS Care+, the full overhaul is included once every five years.
