The price of a watch service
Transparent prices and a firm quote before any work: here is what maintaining a watch really costs at an independent atelier.
The Standard service, by type of watch
The Standard service includes complete disassembly of the movement, ultrasonic cleaning, replacement of the usual wear parts, lubrication, reassembly, rate adjustment and the final check, over 1 to 2 weeks. 12-month warranty.
Gold and Platinum
The service Gold (from CHF 450) adds to the Standard the options our watchmaker suggests for your piece, for example case polishing, dial restoration or reapplication of the Luminova. Every option is itemised in the online quote and can be unchecked. The service Platinum (from CHF 1,000) is the full restoration: cosmetic restoration, ORBIS certificate with timing measurements, before-and-after photo report, 24-month warranty included.
Small jobs
What makes the price vary
The condition of the movement (a watch that has taken in water or run dry needs more hours), the availability of spare parts (priced separately in the quote and subject to your approval), the complexity of the calibre and cosmetic requests. Two optional supplements: extension of the warranty to 24 months (CHF 100) and priority service at the head of the atelier queue (CHF 200). Insured return shipping within Switzerland is included in every service.
These prices are indicative. The firm, free quote is issued within 7 days of receiving your watch, and nothing is committed before you approve it online.
